“The Very Best”

Wilde Meyer presents “The Very Best,” featuring some of the very best art in Arizona. A variety of art by many different artists will be shown including Chaille Trevor’s energetic and contemporary horse paintings, Nancy Pendleton’s geometric mixed media paintings and Charles Davison’s new series of multicolored grid paintings. Abstract artist DJ Berard will also display her monumental interpretations of Arizona landscapes, as well as Ka Fisher’s narrative, figure paintings with unique Southwest imagery.

July 1st – August 4th

 Colores presents “Pathways,” featuring art that combines good feelings with good places. A variety of art will be shown including Linda Carter Holman's paintings that celebrate the good life with unique stylized figures dancing and singing with companion animals sauntering along rustic roads. Also shown will be popular, Southwest landscape paintings by Alix Stefan along with art such as the photorealistic landscapes by Michael Baum and the colorful landscapes set in bejeweled frames by Fran Larsen.

Wilde Meyer Gallery presents “Hot Art” where the hottest artists present some of their coolest paintings at this show. A variety of art will be featured including Nancy Pendleton’s mixed-media geometric compositions in bold red and rich umber and Robert Charon’s resin coated panels combining floral and color field imagery in his sophisticated paintings. A new sense of discovery and wonder is found in the imaginative animal paintings by Timothy Chapman and the exquisitely detailed watercolor paintings of safari animals by Patricia Hunter.

“It’s a Dog’s Life”
August 5th through September 1st

Celebrating canines of all stature, Wilde Meyer presents our 18 th annual dog themed group exhibition, “It’s a Dog’s Life,” opening on Thursday, August 5th 7-9p.m. Wilde Meyer’s artists will show off their interpretation of man’s best friend in various forms from the comical depictions of dogs at play by Connie Townsend to the endearing expressions captured by Sheridan Brown with many others including Lori Faye Bock, Judy Feldman and Trevor Mikula.

“Eclectic Wandering”

For August, Colores is showcasing our gallery's eclectic mix of beautiful, original paintings and limited edition prints displayed with unique merchandise and antique Asian furniture. Featured art will include landscapes by Alix Stefan, animal paintings by Connie Townsend and Sarah Webber, western figurative art by Thom Ross and many others. "Eclectic Wanderings" runs August 5th and continues through September 1st.

“Sculpture a’ Round”
August 5th through September 1st

August 5th through September 1st Wilde Meyer Gallery celebrates sculptures and 3-D artwork in various shapes, materials and forms for indoors and gardens in our exhibition, “Sculpture a’ Round.” The limited edition, cast bronze animal sculptures by Jim Budish will be featured along with the hand-formed ceramic dogs, figures, birds and animals by Kari Rives. Doug Weigel shapes steel into his petroglyph inspired wall sculptures and his free standing, ocotillo sculptures made from rebar where Rick Lussier welds steel into architectural, abstract sculptures. Light illuminates the brilliantly colored, hand blown glass vessels by Sandy Pendleton and Dave Klein, as well as, the fused glass animals by Sue Goldsand. “Sculpture a’ Round” runs August 5th through September 1st.

“Mixed Bag of Mixed Media ”
September 1st through October 4th

“Mixed Bag of Mixed-Media,” showing at Wilde Meyer Gallery September 1-October 4, celebrates the artists who epitomize invention by using nontraditional materials to create different and unique art. Melinda Curtin uses old-fashioned, white-washed window frames as a substrate with images painted on the reverse side of the glass and Charles Davison creates scenes constructed from various fabrics cut from old clothes, found printed paper, paint and other found objects. “Mixed Bag of Mixed-Media” will feature many other artists who use nontraditional materials including Suzanne Betz, Steven Hofberger, Rebecca Crowell and Matt Priebe.
