She began painting when she was 18 years old and at 21 she entered her first show. The response to her work was phenomenal. Encouraged by friends and family, and her obvious love of animals, especially endangered species, provided her the impetus to depict them in a unique and magnificent way. Although at first glance, the viewer seems to be able to almost touch the animals, the fine art goes beyond being “realistic”. It captures an animal in a moment of time and in a brilliant composition.
