| "The images that grow out of the materials I use have the feel of dreams. The work speaks of seeking, growth, transition and rebirth. They are invitations to go within. Whether troubled, turbulent, calm or playful, the paintings chronicle the way back to a relationship with God. To that end windows, houses, water, boats, chairs and animals comprise a major part of my imagery. Through out my career, I have returned again and again to these subjects. Each time, they go through a transformation, recording what I have learned." | |
